Refund Policy

We want you to love your custom furniture. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review the policy below. Due to the handcrafted, made-to-order nature of our products, some restrictions apply.

Return Window
Returns must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date.
To initiate a return, please contact us at joe@murphybedplace.com or call 1-206-497-7945 with your order number and reason for return. We will assess your situation and provide return instructions.

Return Eligibility

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all hardware, instructions, and accessories included.
  • All items must be secured and repackaged exactly as they were received to prevent damage during transit.
  • Returned items must be in new, unused condition.
  • We do not accept returns for items that show signs of wear, use, damage, or improper repackaging.
Shipping & Return Freight

  • You are responsible for round-trip shipping costs on all returns (original delivery + return shipping).
  • If the item has already entered production or been shipped, shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • We will provide return shipping instructions or arrange a carrier if needed.

Restocking Fee

All eligible returns are subject to a 15% minimum restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
This covers labor, handling, and quality control for returned custom products.

Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items

  • Custom orders (e.g., non-standard colors, sizes, door/drawer configurations, cabinet shapes) are non-refundable and final sale once production begins.
  • Rush orders or expedited production orders cannot be canceled or returned.
  • Products that have been installed or modified in any way are not eligible for return.
Please carefully measure your space and double-check specifications before ordering. We’re happy to help if you need assistance selecting the right model for your needs.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method, minus:

  • Restocking fee (15%)
  • Original shipping (if any)
  • Return shipping

You will be notified via email once the refund is issued.
